The Chopra Foundation — the organization behind Deepak Chopra's meditation, self-care, and expert content — needed a mobile app that could carry the brand's promise into users' daily lives. The bar was high: content had to feel calm and considered, the interface had to disappear into the practice rather than sit on top of it, and the app had to hold up on both iOS and Android at production scale.
Greelow embedded a multi-disciplinary squad — three developers, a UX designer, a QA specialist, and a project manager — that worked side by side with the Chopra team for eighteen months, from initial spec through production launch and iteration.
The Challenge
The Chopra brand carries decades of meditation practice, scientific research, and expert authorship. Every design and product decision had to preserve that essence — the wisdom, the calm, the credibility — while still delivering the interaction patterns modern users expect from a top-tier mobile app.
The mobile app had to:
- Host a rich meditation library with reliable playback and offline availability.
- Serve self-care tools and expert content in a way that felt curated rather than dumped.
- Hit high performance and stability bars on both iOS and Android — the app is the front door to Chopra's audience.
The Solution
The squad worked in weekly cycles with continuous demo builds and direct client feedback. That rhythm shortened the time between "we noticed a rough edge" and "the fix is in the next build" from weeks to days — which matters when the client has domain experts who need to see and feel the app to give useful feedback.

- A React Native codebase that ships to both iOS and Android from a single source of truth.
- A UX flow tuned by the in-house UX designer and validated by the Chopra meditation team. The interface fades into the practice — no visual competition with the content.
