White-label engineering for agencies
Senior LATAM engineers on your bench, under your name
We work as your subcontractor. Senior Buenos Aires engineers who use Claude Code and Cursor daily, a full working day of overlap with US Eastern, at $40-42 an hour, under your brand. Your client never hears our name.
Greelow is a Buenos Aires engineering company that works as a subcontracted engineering supplier for software agencies serving North American clients. We put one or two senior engineers on your delivery team, under your brand, your process and your client relationship. You keep the account. We keep the engineers staffed.
We've been doing this quietly for a while. One agency runs on our engineers right now, and two did before it. We can't tell you which ones, which is exactly the point.
Your client is in New York, or Austin, or Toronto. They want the standup at 9 in their morning and an answer in Slack at 4 in their afternoon. You cover that three ways: a night rota with a premium on top of the salary, a delivery lead answering messages at 11pm until they quit, or you lose the renewal to a vendor that happens to be closer.
Argentina is UTC-3 and doesn't move for daylight saving. That puts Buenos Aires 1 to 2 hours from US Eastern, so a full working day overlaps with your client's working day. Nine in the morning in New York is ten or eleven in the morning here. There's no night shift to pay for, because your client's working day and ours are the same day.
That's the whole structural argument, and it's the one thing a supplier in South Asia can't copy. If what you actually need is that same overlap on your own team instead of subcontracted, that's our core staff augmentation service.
How the engagement works
You send the role, the stack and the hours.
Not a job description. The ticket you can't cover this month.
You interview the candidates yourself.
We shortlist, you decide. Nobody joins your team on our word.
The engineer works inside your setup.
Your repos, your standups, your Slack, your tools, your client-facing rituals. Under your brand, with your email if that's how you run it.
One invoice per engineer, per month.
Contract, payroll, equipment and IP assignment are on our side. No recruiting fee, no placement fee, no markup on tooling.
Thirty days notice, both ways.
One or two engineers is the normal size of this, and the ones we've placed this way have stayed past the first year.
Who this is for
A 20 to 150 person shop with North American accounts
Big enough to have US clients, small enough that a delivery center of your own doesn't pay off.
A delivery director covering US hours with a rota
You already know what the night premium costs you in money and in attrition.
A shop that just won an account it can't staff this quarter
Two senior engineers, starting now, without adding headcount you'll have to carry.
What it costs
Rate
$40-42/hour, all-in
No recruiting fee, no setup fee, no separate line for laptops, licenses or benefits.
Monthly equivalent
$6,900-$7,300/month
Full-time senior engineer, at the hourly rate above.
Typical engagement
1-2 engineers
Thirty days notice, both ways. You mark it up - that's the model, and we price expecting it.
Yes, we also sell directly. Here's how that's handled.
We also sell to US companies under our own name, which makes us a competitor of yours on paper. The honest way to handle that is in writing, before anyone sends a CV:
Mutual non-solicitation, signed before profiles.
We don't approach your client. You don't approach our engineers behind the contract.
We stay invisible.
No logo on your deck, no joint case study, no reference call, no mention of your name in a pitch of ours. Not while the engagement runs, and not after it ends.
We don't go around you.
If your client contacts us directly, you hear about it from us the same day.
Comparison
How this compares
Greelow as your subcontractor | A night rota on your own team | A subcontractor in South Asia | Your own LATAM office | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Overlap with US Eastern | Full working day. Argentina is UTC-3 year round, 1-2 hours from US Eastern | Full, at night | India is 9.5-10.5 hours ahead of US Eastern. Overlap costs them a night shift | Full, once it exists |
Cost per senior hour | $40-42, all-in | Salary plus night premium plus turnover | Lower per hour, higher coordination | Entity, payroll and local recruiting before the first billable hour |
What you carry when the account ends | Thirty days notice and nothing else | The salaries, and the people who took the night shift for you | Whatever the contract locked in | The entity, the lease and the payroll |
Time to a first engineer | As fast as you can interview | Weeks of rota redesign, if people accept it | Weeks | Months |
Who owns the client | You. Non-solicitation both ways, in writing | You | Depends on the contract | You |
Common questions
- Yes, mutual, and we sign it before we send you a single profile. It covers your clients and our engineers, during the engagement and after it ends.
- Yours. Your repos, your Slack, your process, your email domain if that's how you run subcontractors. Greelow doesn't appear in front of your client unless you decide otherwise.
- One engineer, month to month, with thirty days notice on either side. Partners start with one or two, and the engineers we’ve placed this way have stayed past the first year.
- In Argentina, on Greelow contracts. Invoicing runs through Greelow LLC, a Florida company, so your paperwork is with a US entity. We’ve been operating since 2017 and we’re ISO 9001 certified — more about Greelow.
- Eight or more years is typical, and every engineer works with Claude Code, Cursor or Copilot as part of their normal day. You interview them before they start, so you don't have to take our word for the first part or the second.
- Yes. Most of the shops we talk to are in Central and Eastern Europe, and the reason is always the same: their clients are on US Eastern time and their engineers are not.
